Boot Camp (For Connor)
Aug. 31st, 2016 03:22 pmThere was so much of the station that was left to it's own devices, Cora had discovered on her explorations. The lower levels near the docks were full of abandoned spaces. Some had been taken over by the black market element for transporting goods into and around the station (she'd found that out when she ran bodily into a hulking grey-skinned alien that apologised profusely and then offered to show her around the sub-levels in the most disarmingly polite way that Cora spent a whole afternoon being chaperoned by him). Other spaces were just too dangerous structurally to be of any use. Still others were flooded.
But then her new friend had shown her into one of the legs of the station and she'd found an empty warehouse. High ceilings and big windows, an upper floor that she was seriously considering making her new permanent living space. The whole thing looking out over the smaller surface level buildings and the water beyond.
It was perfect.
Cora grinned as she walked in. She'd spent a day with the help of her new smuggler friends cleaning the place out and now she was passing the time warming up while she waited for Connor to get there for their first training session.
